Yo amo Lo de Marcos
Lo de Marcos is muy Tranquilo, I think that is "very calm" in spanish.

For four years we have driven from Chacala to Sayulita without stopping at Lo de Marcos.
OK, I can admit when I made a mistake.

Fresh produce is available at the trailer park.

So are fresh home made
Chile Rellenos.

Illona likes Chile Rellenos too.

The first night we walked to town in about 10 minutes, bought a few supplies and had street side tacos. They were very good as usual.

The beach is wonderful here at Lo de Marcos., it takes Ray, Kona and I about 15 – 20 minutes to jog from one end to the other. Somehow on the way back, Ray goes even faster, Kona and I finish a minute or two later. A swim feels real good after the run.
The water has been very calm, so Lydia and Ray have had some good snorkeling. They have seen eels, octopus, and many other colorful fish.

The calm seas are now a thing of the past and this afternoon looks like it could be good for Boogie boarding.... there is such a thing as too good.

Boogie boarding in these conditions takes a lot of energy

Taking a well deserved rest.

The other day we went fishing and whale watching while the water was flat. It was, a very successful trip with both missions being completed.

Everyone enjoyed the afternoon out on the water.

Captian Ralph Funk takes us to the Whales!

Tim and Judi flew in from Calgary yesterday, so now we are los ocho compadres. We had a fun time checking out Sayulita last night, it certainly is busier than lo de Marcos.

Cathie heard the camote whistle, and it wasn't long until we found the Camote Man selling his roasted sweet potatoes and bananas from his wood fired wagon. The Camote man always brings back many fond memories for Cathie.

With 8 of us in Sayulita, you can just imagine how busy we have been. Walking the beach, shopping, swimming, book reading, happy hour, mealtime, and games. It's really quite remarkable we get it all done in a day.

If time permits, we would also like to squeeze in some stand up paddleboarding. Kona left Ray and I swimming on our own, to go join a couple from Colorado in a game of frisbee. He did quite well and made some very nice catches.

OK, Il'l post then go check out the paddle board situation, but it is getting close to happy hour, I'll consult the itenary.

Gotta go.

These guys were very friendly and we bought some sugar cane from them.
