Cathie Kona and I love to go to Mexico.

Cathie grew up making several trips to Belize with her family. Can you just picture it, 5 kids plus Mom and Dad, driving to Belize. I heard there was never any fighting in the back seat. What an adventurous family. 

Our family made a couple trips to Disneyland, not as far as Belize, but good road trips just the same. The travel / adventure bug really did bite Cathie and I. Now we both enjoy long road trips and long canoe trips.

This year will make it cinco anos that we have spent some of the winter in Mexico. We go for 6-8 weeks typically, but this year it looks like diez semanas.

We take our VW Van, her name is Hazel. The VW works great for us in Mexico, it has, fridge, stove, sink, table and comfy bed, plus an outdoor solar shower.

We love to travel all over the country, beaches and inland. This year the itinerary is pretty open, but suspect we'll get lots of beach time.
